My father in law is Spurs and we both watched this. We both agreed on one thing. It was like watching half decent 12 year old boys play.

The absolute best thing that they have over the men's team is swapping shirts at the end of a game.

I'm so despicable that I would rather have Kate Longhursts match-worn shirt than Declan Rice's.

91st minute equalizer against Spurs away. Cupping the ear and "have some of that" into the camera.

Her french team mate said "we have to smash them (Spurs) or Kate is gonna kill us!" Lucky for her Kate scored the equalizer as she gave away a penalty and got sent off!

The Women's league is just like the premier league in terms of favoring certain sides

Women's football is ,well...pointless crap tbh.

I enjoyed her celebration but my god the standard was dreadful.

Clearly below Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City it is very poor. Some of the passing made Diop seem like Franz Beckenbauer.

I like Cissoko though, she loves a good scrap.

Did she take her shirt off? Was it better she kept it on? Is she a lezzer?

Who exactly is wrong?

The women copying the men by spitting, argueing etc?

Or the men setting a bad example by spitting argueing etc?

I am referring to...why can't THEY set an example by NOT copying the mens game as has been pointed out in this thread

Was it her you could hear shouting "I hate Tottenham" after the goal?!

I don't like the diving, waving imaginary cards around etc but celebrating by winding up opposition fans is funny and hardly a new thing.

The best bit of the game was when the West Ham keeper drop kicked the ball in to Lucy Parker’s head from about 10 yards and then had to chase back to prevent a corner. Hilarious 🤣

All of them. You can add in the officials and the administrators of the game for not stamping some of that shit out as well.

Football has to be the only sport where any of this stuff is seen as a good thing. In almost every other team/contact sport, almost all the players just act in a professional manner the overwhelming majority of the time.

Always hilarious that you can chip a keeper with a header so easily in women's football

Re: Kate Longhurst goal celebration v spurs
Sadly everyone follows the shitty examples of 'sportsmanship' the senior male players are constantly allowed to get away with. My brother in law coaches my nephew's under 11 team and he has to constantly try to stop them all copying the diving, fouling, winding each other up, waving round imaginary cards, kicking the ball away and doing cunty little celebrations like the 'shush' and those horrible FIFA/co-ordinated group ones.

You can see first hand what a terrible example the pros are setting for everyone else who plays the game.

Why do THEY have to act like male footballers?

Spitting, arguing with the ref, ridiculous goal celebrations
